GPR Ventures is a privately held real estate investment firm. Headquartered in Mountain View Valley, GPR also has three offices on the West Coast. Ventures rebrands value-add portfolios, maximizes investor return, and continues to increase its footprint into new markets throughout the West.
Glen Yonekura is a co-founder and Managing Principal of GPR Ventures. Since 2004, he has been successfully conducting private placement real estate investment, operating and deploying capital in real estate markets throughout California and the United States, and internationally including Canada.
Glen also oversees the GPR Ventures investment committee, directing all investments and asset management for each GPR Ventures project. GPR Ventures is currently headquartered in Mountain View and will stay in the Castro Commons project once it’s completed. Glen lives less than one mile away from downtown Mountain View / Castro Street and believes in developing a product that will be a pride for him as he supports businesses in downtown Castro Street on weekdays and weekends by shopping and dining. He and GPR have a vested interest in the success of the Castro Commons project, both in the short-term and long-term…they are here to stay.
Glen is dedicated to his two children and is heavily involved in each of their sports leagues. He has overseen and coached multiple of their youth teams over the years, both at their school, Next Level, the local community, and NFL Flag Football, just to name a few. His football teams recently went undefeated in three different leagues during the 2021-2022 seasons.
Glen brings his collaborative attitude to Castro Commons and looks forward to leading the development team, in concert with the surrounding neighborhood residents and businesses to make Castro Commons a project that everyone can enjoy and be proud of.
Phillip Rolla is the Co-Founder and Managing Principal of GPR Ventures and also serves as Executive Vice President of Dan Caputo Co. which specializes in investment, development, and management of its commercial real estate holdings. You could say Phil was “born into the business” as his family business, Dan Caputo Co., was founded in 1931 and is still going strong to this day.
A family man, Phil has three children, the eldest of recently graduated from Bellarmine College Prep. Being a local resident, Phil is dedicated to improving his community and his invested a considerable sum toward revamping the 5+ acre park located in his neighborhood and rebuilt Willow Street Frank Bramhall Park baseball field. Phil is on the Board of the Willow Glen Little League and has been featured for his leadership and contributions in the Mercury News and East Bay Times.
Dedicated to his community, Phil co-founded The Table restaurant located in downtown Willow Glen which helped the revitalization of what had been a “dead zone” in the downtown area.
Phil is a believer in revitalizing quaint downtowns to keep the original charm and yet to add value to residents and visitors, Castro Commons continues his efforts of taking under-utilized properties and projects and revitalizing them to improve everyone’s experience. He looks forward to working with the local community to ensure Castro Commons is a win for everyone and a win for the City’s image and legacy for decades to come
